Buffalo Ridge Resort Opening a Success
Buffalo Ridge Resort’s Grand Opening was a huge success. Over 2000 people visited the campus which used to be the South Dakota School for the Blind. We continue to take reservations and have visitors daily. What a remarkable change from 7 months ago. So exciting to be a part of this amazing restoration here in Gary, SD. After decades of being filled in with earth, Lake Elsie is now filled with water. It is just amazing and the waterfall over the dam gives a whole new meaning to “Talking Waters”. July 3-4 Celebration
Come to Gary, SD for a couple of fun filled days.
Buffalo Ridge is as pretty as a picture.
Even though it is not finished, we are so impressed with the looks of everything at the complex. Lake Elsie was a very beautiful emerald green in the setting sun with the new reinforced dam in the back ground. They have just stocked it with rainbow trout. New sidewalks are going in and the landscaping is in progress. Racquetball court, exercise room, and laundromat are in process. Even the old blind school playground equipment has been brought back to a usable condition. It will be worth your while to make the trip to see this magnificent resort.
