Buffalo Ridge Resort Opening a Success

Buffalo Ridge Resort’s Grand Opening was a huge success. Over 2000 people visited the campus which used to be the South Dakota School for the Blind. We continue to take reservations and have visitors daily. What a remarkable change from 7 months ago. So exciting to be a part of this amazing restoration here in Gary, SD. Come take a look and book a room at the Ridge!!

Ten Days and Counting

The pressure is on! We have ten days left to finish with the preparations for the longest running July 3 celebration in the State of South Dakota. Two whole days (third and fourth of July) of family filled fun. You won’t regret coming!
Lake Elsie is Back!

After decades of being filled in with earth, Lake Elsie is now filled with water. It is just amazing and the waterfall over the dam gives a whole new meaning to “Talking Waters”. Come “Experience the Life” here in Gary South Dakota, and join us for the Grand Opening of Buffalo Ridge Resort, July 3rd, 4th and 5th! Many activities for the whole family and tours daily of the Buffalo Ridge Resort Campus (formally the South Dakota School for the Blind). Pics soon to come!

Everything is moving forward as planned at Buffalo Ridge Resort. The walls for the Racquetball court are up, and the fitness center will begin its transformation. Lake Elsie is scheduled to be filled up next week and the grass is starting to grow around the premises. With the landscaping beginning next week, it will be exciting to watch the “vision” begin to take shape. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures.
